How to download a public Dailymotion video

Public videos only

Paste a dailymotion.com/video link or a dai.ly short link into the Dailymotion video downloader. The page loads the public title, owner, and thumbnail. An MP4 button appears when Dailymotion publishes a direct file. Many public videos are stream-only, so the honest result is the preview without a fake download.

Short links and full video URLs are both recognized.

1. Copy the video URL from the share menu or the address bar.
2. Paste it and press Get Download Links.
3. Confirm the title and channel name.
4. Save an MP4 if it is listed. Otherwise watch it on Dailymotion.
